How do you smell?

The Prophet P.B.U.H. once said:The example of a good companion and a bad one is the bearer of musk and the worker on the fires. A bearer of musk would give you some, you might buy some from him, or you might enjoy the fragrance of his musk. The worker on the fires, on the other hand, might spoil your clothes with sparks from his bellows, or you get a bad smell from him

yeah. our friends reflect some of our own values. not necessarily all. but as we can 'blend in' with them, it means that , those values on them, live with us. either good or bad.
either we make our friend better, and they have good influence on us, or we gonna make them bad and worse or they gonna may have the bad influence on us.
only either way.
* i think the sentence might sounds better, "they(our friend) influenced us to be good like them or they can influenced us to be bad as them"

so. either we CHOOSE our friend, or we MAKE/ BUILD our friend.
